This is the number one question I get asked about this course. People assume that you can only get protein through a traditional meat-heavy diet.

That couldn’t be further from the truth!

Did you know that most Americans actually over-consume protein, which leads to health problems? Did you also know that meat-based proteins also come packed with saturated fats. This dietary pattern is associated with increased risks of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and certain cancers.

Plant-based protein sources, however, provide essential amino acids without the added health risks of saturated fats and cholesterol found in animal products.

Plant protein is also an amazing resource for endurance and body-building athletes.

About Me

I understand what you’re feeling! Next to my family, food is what I love most. But my relationship to food had turned sour. I felt crappy after I ate, lacked energy and hope, and felt anxiety around mealtime.

With this newfound excitement for what plants can do for us all I went back to school and studied with Dr. T Collin Campbell (the father of the plant-based diet) and became certified in Plant-Based Nutrition.
